Important Update: Return to Face-to-Face Learning and Attendance Requirements

19 June 2023

Dear Students,

We hope this message finds you well. We are writing to inform you of an important update regarding the delivery of our programs/courses. As you may be aware, due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, certain flexibility was granted to us by ASQA, allowing us to offer online and distance learning options for our VET courses and ELICOS programs.

However, we would like to inform you that starting next week, Monday, 26th June 2023, all our programs/courses will be transitioning back to face-to-face learning. This means that you will be required to attend classes on campus for the majority of your course. This decision is in accordance with the updated guidelines outlined in the National Code 2018 and the ELICOS Standards 2018.

While the majority of your classes will be conducted face-to-face, we understand that there may be certain circumstances where remote delivery is still necessary. Therefore, a maximum of 30% of VET courses may continue to be delivered remotely via Zoom. However, please note that this will be subject to strict monitoring and will only be applicable to specific courses.

We want to emphasize the utmost importance of attendance during this transition period. Attendance will be closely monitored, and it is absolutely crucial that you maintain a high level of attendance for your courses. As a compliance measure, it is important for you to understand that failure to meet the attendance requirements could have serious consequences, including the potential cancellation of your student visa.

As an RTO, we are obligated to comply with the attendance requirements set forth by the regulatory authorities, and it is our responsibility to ensure your compliance as well. Therefore, we kindly request your full cooperation and commitment to maintaining an excellent attendance record. Your attendance will not only contribute to your academic progress but also ensure your compliance with visa regulations.

We understand that this transition may require adjustments, and we assure you that we are here to support you every step of the way. Our staff and support services are available to address any concerns or challenges you may encounter during this transition back to face-to-face learning.

Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions or require further clarification. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter and look forward to your active participation in the upcoming face-to-face classes.
